The GREEN grass is just starting to POP in this area of the midwest!  Our greens were aerated on a Tuesday, and luckily.....heavy rains followed.  The greens are recovering FAST....below is less than a week recovery time.

yea, they're still pretty rough with sand still present, but in great shape considering they just went though spring aeration along with a heavy dose of sand top-dressing just a few days before!!   C'mon warm weather!!!!!!!  grow grass grow!!      I am shocked how well the greens are rolling right now with all things considered!!    I've definitely seen WORSE!!!!.......within a week of aeration!!

PS...that was my birdie putt on #1.........I missed.  LOL

Same over here as well! I played just after the greens were treated and it was really hard to judge the pace with all the sand on them!

My home course changed their aeration method and no long punch the gigantic holes while covering with dump truck loads of sand.   The holes are much smaller and the levels of sand is less.

This is 7 days after aeration...........

yes.........a bit choppy and rough, but I think the above is amazing for only 7 days recovery!!

This is what the greens look like during prime season, so YES.....we still have a ways to go!!!  LOL

I am looking forward to the above putting surfaces to be sure!!!!!!!

Either that is a very generous filter or you have a great golf course to play. Congrats!

We are about 3 weeks post punch. Greens are almost perfect again. They have about 7 weeks until the PGA northwest Arkansas open is here.

Definitely no photo-chopping needed!!

I showed the 18th par5 green in summer condition...............this is the 18th fairway that same day!  This is the approach view after a good drive...if you want to go for the green in 2 after a good drive...this is the view. The fairways are amazing/pristine................

The grasses are amazing..............................

I haven't been able to play yet.  I usually get a couple rounds in during March.  But I'm not one to rush out at the first warm day, because conditions will suck, and it will be too soft and gross.  I'M GETTING ANCY HERE, AND I'M GOING TO TAKE IT OUT ON SOME OF YOU IF I DON'T PLAY SOON.

Wow..wow..wow!   It's still just early enough that the sight of green grass excites me!  LOL

3 weeks post aeration, and the greens are looking MINT!!!!!!!!!!!   They aren't up to summer speed yet, but they're rolling well!!  I took this pic yesterday..............

If you miss a putt, it's not the greens fault! LOL..........the rough has filled in and is ultra lush.  It's a problem in areas where it hasn't been freshly cut.  (deep hack-out potential)

Our greens still suck. It's been several weeks and I can still see holes with quite a bit of sand on them. Enough that I can see a sand splash if I hit the green.
