@billchao between working 11 out of 13 closing grill shifts and such, I can try to get some video done. Then maybe I can get a drill or two. Craig and I have worked on it however.

If what you're doing with your instructor is working, I'd stick with that, but it wouldn't hurt to get some video anyway.

Does this qualify as a pitch and back in the stance? I would guess this is more of a chip though, while it gets some air, it runs. To my untrained eye, it looks like he's engaging the bounce.

Low spinner is more of a chip, isn't it? Look at the negative shaft lean at impact and how the clubhead doesn't overtake the hands at all in the follow through. He delofts it quite a bit, too. That's not engaging the bounce.

Yeah, you're right, more of a chip and AoA I would guess is definitely well in the minus. I guess I'm confused on matchups in the short game. Hopefully will deep dive on that this season.

Ok, @mvmac I get what you are saying. I know this is a two-year-old thread. But then if I play my pitches and wedge shots forward, why in the hell can't I hit a wedge? Stance too wide maybe?

Could be many reasons. Post some examples in your swing thread.

First thing I would do is make sure the grip is neutral or slightly weak and that the chest rotates back and through the shot. Try to have it move like this, look at where the buttons of his shirt are pointed.
