I checked Erin Hills out a few weeks ago, really nice course. Definitely on my "must play list". Wont happen this year but 1st thing next spring I will be there.

Yeah, I really liked playing Arrowhead. Next time I go down to Myrtle Beach I'm definitely playing it again.

While Arrowhead is a nice course, there are also some nicer courses such as Caledonia, True Blue, Heritage, King's North, Grande Dunes, TPC, The Dunes, Barefoot, Legends, Tidewater, River's Edge, Oyster Bay, Glen Dornoch and Leopard's Chase.

Seems like a lot for someone who golfs a ton and has been doing it for a long time, but I took two golf trips this year and played a new one on vacation. Only two are local; Western Row (not great and may have played it before YEARS ago, but I don't remember) and Traditions, which is private.

What about Mystical Golf Course? I was thinking about playing there next time im there, but I don't know if its worth playing or not.

TPC Norton - Massachusetts. This was my second round of golf in well over five years. It was in beautiful condition. The greens were lightning fast even after a couple days of rain.

Played Arcadia Bluffs in Arcadia, MI. Golf Digest rated it as one of the top 10 public courses in the country. The views were unreal. It is located right along lake Michigan. Didn't shoot well, but still had a great time.

Galloway Atlantic City, NJ Fun, but very tough
Saucon Valley Old Course Allentown, PA Great facilities, conditions
Turtle Creek Limerick, PA short but fun
The Witch Mytrle Beach Fun course but a lot of water
Grande Dunes Myrtle Beach Favorite so far
Myrtlewood Both so so
Hopefully more to come

WORST
Saxon Woods-Scarsdale, NY-It's a great place to play if you have 5 1/2 hours to kill...on a weekday. Just incredibly slow play and some of the worst golf etiquette you'll see.

Gainey Ranch-Scottsdale, Arizona-A huge letdown. Course was not in good condition and four or five holes had leaves all ove the place, unreplaced divots, ball marks still on the green. Did I mention this was a private club?

BEST

Anthem Country Club-Anthem, Arizona. Absolutely beautiful course. Plush greens, great fairways.

Talking Stick-Scottsdale, Arizona. Really nice course. Very challenging. Water everywhere. A place I'd play, repeatedly, if I lived in AZ.

Spook Rock-Rockland County-Pricey-$70 to walk but a really nice course.

Overpeck-Teaneck, NJ-Good, solid course. 4 hours, walking, on a Friday in the summer.

BEST

I've heard that place is super fantastic.

My list of super fantastic is Paiute in Las Vegas . Holy macarel that place was sweet. It's on an Indian reservation, therefore no restriction on water usage. As lush fairways, and perfect greens as I have ever seen (or played on) Also on my list would be: Saticoy C.C. in Somis, CA. Valencia C.C. (Senior Tour stop) Angeles National in Sunland CA. I've played a ton of other places for the first time, but those were the real standouts.

Surprisingly, the Seaview was by far the cheaper of the three, but the one in best condition and most challenging.
