Shark Week

Anyone else but me enjoy watching Shark Week on the discovery channel.  I love watching all of the shark shows.

I've seen bits and pieces, at least it looks like they actually have some new stuff this year. Most years I've watched it had a lot of repeat content.

I think this has been on for 25 years, probably running out of stuff, although the recent shark attacks will probably make it in next year

I like it this year more than the last few years. They have more new content and they seem to be moving away from just making lots of shows on great whites. I don't get Shark After Dark, though.

I watched it for the first time a year or two ago and they had on this really pathetic, fake "documentary" on them searching for, I think, a Megalodon.  It was not science but "reality" TV garbage and kind of turned me off of the Shark Week stuff afterwards.  However, I have seen bits and pieces of some of the actual legit shows and enjoyed them.  And my son is 6 now and also likes them, but we haven't been watching it too much this week yet.
