I couldn't even look at Shane Lowry and his jiggly chest without thinking that he desperately needs a bra! It's just so shocking to see golfers who look like that these days when 90 plus percent of them are so fit.

You may want to turn your head because Mr. jiggly chest, just pocketed a cool 1.4 mill.

Congrats to Lowry.  He's a good young player.  Was rooting for Furyk but I knew that he just doesn't hold on to final round leads anymore.

It's always awesome to see someone break through. You could see that he wanted it really bad, and that made it so much more enjoyable. Gritting his teeth, holding off nerves, hitting ridiculous shots to eight feet; so cool.

Congrats Shane Lowry! He was the amazing young man on the green. Quite happy to live in same time with good golfers.

Great job between the tree escapes esp.

We had all assumed it would be Rory and G-Mac representing Ireland at the Olympic tournament exactly one year from now, but Shane Lowry has emphatically staked his claim as one of the Emerald Isle's best.

My bad, make that 1.57 mill for the the guy who does not go to the gym 7 days a week. Hmm, what's up with that?

G-Mac may want to consider trying to switch to playing for Northern Ireland. Lowry and Rory may end up ahead of him. Rory definitely will...if Gmac doesn't pick up his game, so will Shane.

Isn't Rory already Northern Irish? Gmac could just stay as a rep for Ireland, unless Rory switched.

He is but he chose to play for Ireland. They had to declare who they would play for. I believe Gmac said Ireland, too, but not positive on that.

Even if G-Mac declared for Northern Ireland he is still in a hole re Olympic qualification.

As far as the Olympics are concerned Northern Ireland is part of the Great Britain and Northern Ireland team, along with England, Scotland and Wales. G-Mac would be the 9th ranked player for that team, with Rose and Willett as the current holders of the two positions. He would join Casey, Westwood, Donaldson, Poulter, Warren and Fleetwood on the sidelines.

With only 4 US players eligible (assuming 4 US players in the top 15, a no brainer) the Olympic field is going to be really weak. 31 of the current top 100 will qualify as far as I can tell.
