Through some luck I have a several hundred $$$ worth of shop credit (1200) I can not use it for green fees or cart or membership. My thought is buy some stuff and flip it here or on ebay. Then use the money for membership next year so what would you buy? scotty cameron putter, the latest driver, high end rainwear? remember I want to flip it at the highest dollar, with the least shipping cost etc whats hot right now?

Does the credit expire? Regardless, I'd buy consumables with a bunch if it. 10 dozen balls, a dozen gloves, new shoes, etc.. If you don't have high-end rain gear, I'd definitely get some. Then whatever with the rest....

In David's bag....

3-Wood: Titleist 910F;  15* Diamana Kai'li
Hybrids: Titleist 910H 19* and 21* Diamana Kai'li
Irons: Titleist 695cb 5-Pw

Wedges: Scratch 51-11 TNC grind, Vokey SM-5's;  56-14 F grind and 60-11 K grind
Putter: Scotty Cameron Kombi S
Ball: ProV1

Probably a high end putter or driver would get you the most money back, and then take $25-50 off of what they sell in stores. Try CL or local online classifieds first (will save you the shipping). When you post it for sale, maybe explain your story about buying them with your pro-shop credit and Re-selling "new" at a discount... Otherwise some people might pass it over as a scam. Or even post something on CL about what you're doing, and see who wants what. Tell them to bring cash and they can come with you right to the pro shop and pick what they want out themselves

I'd go with the latest and greatest rangefinders Bushnell Tour X or Scotty Cameron putters so you're only trying to sell a few items versus many (reduces shipping costs and trips to the UPS store).  Another option is to put a ad in Craigslist that offers the $1200 in store credit in exchange for whatever you'd like to get out of it, $900 seems reasonable.

If you're really trying to flip whatever you buy, I'd go with a few Scotty putters. I generally see even old, used, banged-up ones sell for nearly their MSRP.

In my bag:

Driver: Titleist TSi3 | 15º 3-Wood: Ping G410 | 17º 2-Hybrid: Ping G410 | 19º 3-Iron: TaylorMade GAPR Lo |4-PW Irons: Nike VR Pro Combo | 54º SW, 60º LW: Titleist Vokey SM8 | Putter: Odyssey Toulon Las Vegas H7

I agree with Jamo and your first instinct for the Scotty putters.

No the credit doesn't actually expire. the 1-10 dozen proV1 is pretty impractical when you figure out the cost and shipping cost. I'm thinking Scotty, FJ tourxp dry joy rainwear, maybe the new Taylormade m1 driver 9-10.5 stiff RH. Or Jason Days putter. Or air Jordan golf shoes.

I don't understand. It's a local shop. They don't stock balls and stuff? Why would you have to pay shipping?

I don't want the balls I want the cash, so someone like your self May by 6 dozen prov1, if you were willing to buy them for 35.00 per dozen. Would you be willing to pay another 25-30 for shipping? I know I wouldn't. For an individual, shipping cost has ballooned in the past few years.

Shipping is way cheaper than ever before for everybody. Just look at Amazon.
