44 on Tuesday. I can't tell if I saved a potential 47 or threw away a potential 41.

44 tonight, a triple, three putt bogey, double finish so I know I threw away today's round.

The driver is coming around, now if I could hit a green with a short iron I'd be in business.

Last night went to a Novice night with the wife at a local course. 11.50 for a cart and as much as you can play after 7:00pm.

I left the driver in the trunk and played 3W for tee shots. Shot a 48 on 9 holes. My personal best by a couple strokes (54 was before)

Everything was just going great. It started pouring on #6 (felt like the preacher from Caddyshack) but I had to keep going to get a round in.

Played a quick 9 after work and shot 40 with absolutely no putting skill. I 3 putted 4 holes. Played the first 6 holes -1 and the last 3 went completely South with +5 on them.

93 at Farmer City yesterday since every public course in downstate Illinois had double outings scheduled.

3 balls in the water, 2 of them because I hit the ball too far
putting was mediocre considering there were only 30 of them
5/14 fairways, driver wasn't too bad until the end
2/18 GIR and only 9/18 GIR +1, iron play was the worst in weeks

it was a very nice June day though, still not hot yet

83 today on a new course.

Sucked it up on the front nine for a 44, dropped a much better 39 on the back.

Had 3 3-putts...ugh.

Oh well. Not a bad score considering.

Yesterday I shot a 45 on the local 9-hole par 3 (with one par 4), my best so far by 3 strokes.

46 on nine, my best ever. Pretty satisfied - not really too many shots I want back. Three GIRs, 19 putts - both also personal records. Putting could have been better, it was my wedge play that earned the low number of putts. Overall I'm excited for future rounds. I definitely felt that a forty was within reach - I was two bad holes away.
