Shot a 10 over 41 last night in my league. However, most of the damage was done in the first 3 holes. I was 8 over through 3. My driver came alive on the last 6 holes and I turned it around.

Played a strange nine today with 6 pars, 2 doubles, and 1 triple for a 7 over 42. My putting was especially good, with some 15+ foot par saves, some mental errors cost me the big numbers.

Shot 42 on the front 9 at my local muni. Pretty good score considering that I played from the blue tees (7294 yards with 3616 on the front). It helps my game to force different clubs into my hands than I am accustomed to.

Added a back nine 41 to yesterday's score for a round of 83. The back is usually the bigger challenge for me, so I can definitely see improvement in my game. Hopefully I will drop from a 12.1 to 10.X with the next hcp revision. Either way, the game is improving.

I shot an 84 with 36 putts. I and two 3 putts to start of the round. I missed 3 birdies within 10 ft which kills me. I've been shooting low 80s for the last couple weeks but I never can break 80. I don't make any birdies, I don't know if i am be to conservative on my putting or what. But I drove the ball well with 11 of 14 fairways, but two that didn't find the fairway found the hazard.

Tied my personal best of 106 on my home course this afternoon. My chip on 18 missed the hole by 2 inches but overall a good day. Two blow up holes pretty much killed me. I am just happy to be striking the ball ball solidly and can feel that the day that I break 100 is coming soon.

1st time poster...been lurking for weeks now. I have been playing on and off for years, but decided to get alot of time in this year, and get "better". I am normally a duffer with flashes of brilliance. It has been a good day if I break 100, or shoot high 90's. So far this year, after 7-8 rounds nothing below 100. AWFUL start, but I am still very determined, lol.

I purchased all "new" gear this year. Cleveland Hibore XLS Draw 9.0 (from a Hibore XL 10.5) and 2-LW Ping Zing 2's. Also Purchased a TaylorMade Monza Corza Belly putter, as I was always "shaky" with my other, 3 putts were the norm.

So I feel I am finally adjusting to all the clubs, and today, after work, I went out for a quick nine, maybe more if we could fit it in. 45 on the front...I was very happy...then I go on to hit 43 on the back...Needless to say I was pumped. The 18th was in complete darkness (Long Par 3) and I took a 5. Overall there were 3 strokes I could have saved by taking my time...(10th hole we were not sure if we were going to take off, or play a few more, and On in two, my second putt wasd rushed as we were half walking off).

So very realistically I could have had an 85...a personal best by a longshot, which prompted me to finally sign up and post...

Maybe my new found "game" is due to my recent viewing of this forum...coincidence?

Thanks for listening...the wife does not "get" it and was not extremely excited about my score like I was...lol

Last Thursday, I shot an 88. It could have been better. I hit four of the longest drives I've ever struck. My short game from 100 yards in lacked luster. My score should have been, could have been in the mid to low eighties. If only I could practice more.

I shot 79 (40,39), yesterday, which is +7. Hit the ball well and make sum clutch putts from over six feet. But missed four good looks at birdie, before cashing in on a 4 1/2 footer for birdie on the 18th.
