What Did We Do to Deserve This Good Weather?

We're just on the wrong side of the jet stream.  We are getting all of the weather that's missing the east coast.  We had about 7 inches of snow last Tuesday, then another 2 inches last night.  It's not supposed to be above freezing for at least the next 5 days.  I don't see a lot of golf until at least the end of February or early March.  

I may take a few days in mid February to drive to Vegas and meet my brother for 3 days of golf at Primm.  Our wives are going to gamble with some other girl friends, so we guys get to do our own thing.  Haven't yet decided if I want to do it or not - long drive for just 3 days.

I hope that is not the case.  But it sure is looking that way.

I have a trip planned to Vegas at the end of February for business.  I think I'll take my clubs and play at least two rounds when I am out there.

NE Ohio 5" of heavy, wet white stuff overnight.  Went out shoveled off deck.  Wind is picking up (from the north and over Lake Erie) and more lake-effect snow in forecast for today. Temps expected to drop all day meaning whatever is on the ground will soon be frozen solid.

It IS April, isn't it? This is not good.

Yeah and don't get me started on MLB scheduling.  Tribe opens the season in CLE against Red Sox (their ONLY trip to Cleveland this year due to MLB brain-child called 'Inter-league Play') and home opener is snowed-out. Next game played in 40 degree rain, then another snow out.  3-game series split 1-1 with Red Sox.  And people wonder why despite a competitive team, nobody attends Tribe games.  How about because in NE Ohio the weather completely BLOWS until mid-July! Then, you get about 6 weeks of summer and it's back to crap weather again.
