What Did We Do to Deserve This Good Weather?

I don't know what I did to deserve this but whatever it was I am going to try to repeat it. By this Sunday I will have 7 rounds played in December which is unheard of for me (North East USA). Last year I think I only had 2 rounds and it was CCCCCOOOOOOOLLLLLLDDDDDD. Heck Xmas is on a Friday and New Years day as well so I might be able turn those long weekends into 2 southern trips for warmer weather without having to burn PTO days. Every year should be like 2015! Multiple 60 degree days in December is a beautiful thing.

It almost makes me less grumpy...

I've got three in and one more tomorrow. Next week looks good too, but some of the courses are closing anyway.

Really strong El Nino this winter = warm and dry in the NE! Here at the S Jersey shore, I usually play all winter, except last winter which was torture.

I know right?  I live just outside Philadelphia and the weather has been unreal for golf, mid-60s this weekend and I'm playing tomorrow (and maybe Sunday too).  The best part, the courses are in great condition by us and we're in winter rate mode so I've been able to play some really nice courses for two-thirds of what it would cost me in the summer.

Near 70 and dry (supposedly!) this coming Sunday.  Texts regarding golf flying.  I'm in.

Enjoy the nice weather.  Playing 18 on December 13 in NE Ohio is once every 20-30 years, IIRC!

Played twice this week up here in Northern New York State. This is a record breaking year when it comes to the weather. Weather forecast looks good for next week as well. Heck, even the course is in decent shape

Meanwhile, it looks like my last 18 of the year might be on November 8, which is unusual. Last year, I could have played up until Christmas. Just been some bad timing with cold weather and snow, meaning I can't get out on the weekend. If I hadn't worked yesterday, I could have played 18. But snow predicted tomorrow, followed by cold weather means DeadMan probably won't be golfing the rest of the month.

Sure rub it in.

Meanwhile we are expecting snow tonight and tomorrow.

I have tee times tomorrow and Sunday. But looks like it will be snowed out. Ugh!

I'm pretty sure we were all snowed out last winter while you were teeing it up, so tough cookies :-P

The golf gods have struck me down.

While it's 60 degrees here all weekend, I bruised/strained a rib so can't play for a few weeks.

Golf gods are VERY vengeful.

I played today. And tomorrow if the rain holds off. And Sunday.

Thanks for your sympathy.

It's been awhile since I"ve played last due to travel and was looking forward to this weekend.  When I came back from Calgary, I guess the snow followed me home.
