Trying to figure out why I sometimes cast (thus pulled some drives far right), "narrowed it down" to sequencing. Working on hip turn with extra slow "lag". Acting like my upper torso is in a really viscous liquid.

Mirror work at the gym before my workout. Got a new iPhone, so I will be filming my mirror work and drills as well.

Back at it after short recess. Backswing drill. Retained body movements and feels after missing few days.

20 minutes full swing practice on the lawn. Was particularly conscious of the right wrist remaining correctly extended during the back swing, using the image of a waiter holding a tray when I reached the top of the swing.

Worked on more of the same focus areas that I have been doing for the last couple weeks.... bring the head down coming into the downswing and keeping the bent right elbow up to impact. Split my time between outside and indoor practice using the 7 and 8 iron. I was able to get some videos in the yard before my fingers went numb, since it is about 9 degrees here today. I noticed that what I was feeling, I wasn't really seeing on the video. So, tomorrow I am going to focus on exaggerating these feelings more and take some more videos. Very strange... this feel thing. Reviewed the videos and posted in MySwing....

Planning on working a bit more with the 7-iron in the basement this evening.

I'll be traveling and working in a factory for approximately 36 hours. This will eliminate my chances of completing the challenge. However, I plan to practice on the 14 hour plane ride and the factory. :-P

Backswing drill and hitting each club through series of swings into net in barn.Trying to focus on getting onto left side when completing full swing during backswing drill. ( Noticed I was getting stuck on right side, even doing slow motion swings. ) Another "ah ha" moment.

20 mins further full swing practice, this time the focus was on key#1 - keeping a steady head, especially until after impact. Then did 10 mins chipping, playing a scoring game dependent on proximity to the target, and was pleased with the results.

Slight delay, okay this will be my last entry for 36 hours. Did some hip turn drills. I wonder if there are any TSA rules against doing golf drills on the plane?

No practice today, but I did card a 79 for 18, with 11 pars, and 7 bogies. Nice consistant round for me.

Well, the snow (white death) has moved into the area... so that moved my practice indoors. Worked on the 1/2 swing in the basement with the 7-iron for about an hour and a half split up over three session. Focusing on my right elbow and watching out for the collapsed knee on follow through, while attempting to move the head lower on the downswing. I picked out a target on the opposite wall and attempted to hit that each shot. Continuing to get better, I think.

Also, did a weight and kettlebell workout along with another 10 rounds of boxing on the heavy bag. Spent a couple extra minutes working on the upper cut and hip shift. It is interesting how many similarities there are in golf... hoping that this added element in my workout will buy me some distance. Added in some protein and supplements in my diet too. Will practice my putting later tonight after everyone goes to sleep.

Plane delayed, got a great seat in front. Did some hip turn drills disguised as stretching.

Last night was session #3 of 6 with club pro. We. Discussed key concepts that were pretty much in line with LSW. I'll be working on. Keeping head still and checking at top of backswing drill. ( FO mirror view)

Today I put in a half hour session at local SIM. Using driver only and doing backswing drill most shots went left of target line with draw. Some went straight and a very few went right with a fade, (aka slice). Big change there for me!!

Another 20 minute practice session, this time on the full swing in the net. Was concentrating on swinging my arms faster, grading each swing on a scale of 1-10, and just being aware of what changes actually led to increased speed.

No practice, just played 18 today for an 82. Carded a 6 on par 3. Only bad hole I really had. A slice, a fatty, and a missed putt. No biggie. There's always tomorrow.
