I will say, I am not a big fan of the head covers.

I'm the opposite, I think they're pretty cool. Especially how it fits and it's not loose in the middle like some other head covers in that style.

Do you like the head covers? Many OEMs are going with that look now. Not sure I am a fan.

Got to play the new G irons and fairway woods yesterday.  The irons are really sweet.  Anything struck near the middle of the club face felt like hitting an old wound balata ball.  So soft and buttery feeling and a muted 'pop' sound.  Hit some really solid irons shots and the ball just rocketed off the club face.

The only issue to correct on my part is I'm used to hitting a fairly sizable L to R bender with medium height ball flight.  The G irons go higher and much straighter than I'm used to.  Will have to stop playing for that draw so much and take dead aim at targets.

Fairway woods had just enough left turn to be pretty.  It was difficult going down and really getting after shots from the fairway due to mushy conditions. It's still early March in NE Ohio.  A couple hit from the rough (sitting up on dormant grass) really got up and went.

Overall, I really like the new G-series irons and fairways.
