GRIP, What is going on PLEASE HELP

Guys i have no idea whats going on with my grip, ok so i started out with a baseball grip but it started to feel really weird and awkward then had my first ever lesson and switched to and overlapping grip and it was amazing so great, for about 2 weeks...now with overlapping i still hit my driver and putter well but my woods,hybrid,irons,wedges feel so weird and im hitting them absolutely awful today, so on the 9th hole (this is for the school by the way) on my like 3rd shot i switch to a baseball grip and blast it with my 3 wood then hit a hybrid shot with baseball grip well, wtf is going on like seriously shud i switch back to the baseball grip tomorrow or what like i have absolutely no idea and ik after ljke 2 weeks baseball grip will start to feel weird i have no idea whats going on plz help.

It's only been two weeks since the intial change, there will be "growing pains" and setbacks on the road to improvement. If you try to change something after every bad round you won't improve, there are no quick fixes.

I switched from baseball grip to interlocking a few years ago. It took a lot of swings to feel comfortable. I did a lot of it at home without even hitting a ball. I actually would carry the club around when I walked my dog just to feel comfortable with it. If your committed to the change its going to take a while.

I never felt comfortable with the overlapping grip. The interlocking grip works best for me. It felt comfortable from the beginning.

Good comments above. If you keep flip-flopping around you'll never find a "home". The number 1 complaint of many golfers is a lack of consistency. How can you find any consistency if you're constantly changing your grip? It's how you connect yourself to the club!

I used an interlocking grip in my youth because Nicklaus (my hero) did. Eventually I switched to an overlap and play it to this day.

I spent the winter changing to the overlapping grip. After a month, it will feel normal. One thing, your putter grip is usually different from the grip on all the other clubs. For the putter, you want the grip to be in the palms of your hands. For everything else, more in the fingers. Below is a thread on the full swing grip.
