Can I wear my Apple Watch at Masters?

I am heading to the Masters this Saturday, for first time,

Can I wear Apple Watch?

Or will security deny me?

The prohibited items include:

  • Cell Phones/Cellular capable devices/Beepers/Electronic devices/Tablets
  • Any device capable of transmitting video
  • Cameras*

If the watch does any of these things, it could be an issue.  It seems like it definitely qualifies as an "Electronic Device".  Even so, I doubt they'll notice it as you go in, so if you behave I'd bet you'll be fine.

Doesn't the iWatch need the iPhone to operate properly? I mean it would still tell time, but not much else, so probably fine.

So is a Casio digital watch, so… yeah. Or a FitBit.
