I have completed the August 2016 Practice Challenge.  That makes 4 straight months for me. Just gotta keep it up some things are better, some still need work.

8/1/2016: Short, straight putts, through a series of ball gates (with a gate around the putter as well). About 10 minutes worth. Simple, but hasn't gotten boring yet.

10 minutes mirror work at the gym. Easy swings focused on jump feel and knee slide from A5 through impact.

5-10 minutes of easy swings. Some slow-mo work in between shots, but I had a hard time finding focus. Found myself getting the urge to just hit ball after ball without really practicing so I went ahead and just called it a night. :/

Mostly working with half to three-quarter swings today, hoping that next weekend, all this work pays off. Otherwise, I'll just John Daly it.

Played a round from the front tees with my wife today. Shot an 81 and had a lot of fun.

Practiced chipping around the yard for 10-20 minutes this evening, followed by about 20 minutes of putting. I set up some gates with coins at 1 foot intervals and practiced putting through them from 3, 4, and 5 feet.

8/20 - scramble tourney today. Worked on increasing distance off the tee once we had a safe ball out there. Approaches were great, putting average. Good to get out

Played some holes today.... Sort of a practice round.... Didn't keep score anyway.... I'm only keeping score from now on if I'm in a tournament or whatever.

Mostly worked on GamePlanning and mapping out my spots and figuring out where all the trouble is for buffer zones and such. 

Hit some 40-60 yard pitch shots and chipped from various lies and various spots around the greens.

Went to the range for a bit today until the lightening came. Worked on nice easy swings with my 58W, 7i, 6i, 4i, 4H, 3W, and Driver. Just trying to stay loose and be ready for my round tomorrow.

Played a round today and it was terrible score-wise, but I had a great time and hit a lot of good shots... just hit a lot of bad ones as well. :8)

Practiced one-handed shots with my lob wedge this evening. 20 shots with right hand, then 20 shots with left hand. Then hit a few full shots for fun.

      I'm not sure you're calculating the number of strokes you would need to give correctly. The way I figure it, a 6.9 index golfer playing from tees that are rated 70.8/126 would have a course handicap of 6. A 20-index golfer playing from tees that are rated 64/106 would have a course handicap of 11. Therefore, based on the example above, assuming this is the same golf course and these index & slope numbers are based on the different tees, you should only have to give 5 strokes (or one stroke on the five most difficult holes if match play) not 6. Regardless, I get your point...the average golfer has no understanding of how the system works and trying to explain it to people, who haven't bothered to read the documentation provided by either the USGA or the R&A, is hopeless. In any case, I think the WHS as it currently is, does the best job possible of leveling the playing field and I think most golfers (obviously, based on the back & forth on this thread, not all golfers) at least comprehend that.

      Yes it's true in a large sample like a tournament a bunch of 20 handicaps shouldn't get 13 strokes more than you. One of them will have a day and win. But two on one, the 7 handicap is going to cover those 13 strokes the vast majority of the time. 20 handicaps are shit players. With super high variance and a very asymmetrical distribution of scores. Yes they shoot 85 every once in a while. But they shoot 110 way more often. A 7 handicap's equivalent is shooting 74 every once in a while but... 86 way more often?
