This is my opinionated list of the top 10 Shotmakers/Escape Artists in Golf. Please tell me what you think, and if you want, tell me your favorite Seve Ballesteros moment.

If memory serves me Jack was a great putter but his short game around the green was always his weakness according to the  peers of his generation. Other than that your observations are pretty spot on.

I don't think I'd put Jack that high (and I think Jack would tell you he wouldn't deserve to be that high). Definitely wouldn't put Bubba anywhere near my list.

Would you put Gene Sarazen up there?  His development of the modern sand wedge changed golf.
