Possibly. I interacted rarely with this guy so I have no opinion on how bad his posts were.

I have seen more than one example of a double-standard employed by some mods to 'bait' posters where the mods can be insulting or use insulting terms and then use a mild in comparison snarky response as an excuse to try to muzzle or toss someone they wanted to go away (NoSevi e.g.).

I'm not sure about any of that but if it's true, we're all human and no one is perfect. Of course there will be some level of double standard. But I've seen a great deal of restraint here as well. I know I've crossed the line with other members and at least one forum leader and haven't been given a warning... not yet anyway.

It's the internet and some people get real ballsy because there's no danger. This site is literally the only social media I participate in but from what I understand, forums can get pretty nasty.

That's a bummer. You were one of my more favorite posters. That's a good point about moderators being human. They have opinions just like everyone else, and everyone makes mistakes and/or reacts to their own way of thinking.

My philosophy is to live and learn, and to just continue to post. If posts get deleted, they get deleted. No big deal. . .

@Nosevi had some swing flaws and was good enough in skill level to understand the criticisms from, well, Erik and "Phil". They weren't baiting him as you say. They were prodding him to learn how to fix his swing flaws.

Not saying that Pete was not a really good player, because he was, but everyone has swing flaws. No one is above getting advice from others on this site.

If we listen, we learn.
