Turkey Day = DEALS GALORE

Turkey day is here! While we all enjoy quality time with family, friends, pets, food, or any combination of them, there are plenty of golf deals all around us today and in the month to come! Just wondering: What are some areas of your bag that you're hoping to upgrade, add to, or simply something to purchase in excess this holiday season? And what are some sites and stores you'll be keeping an extra eye on?

Personally, I've been able to get a hold of a Wilson FG Wedge last week that went on a pre-black Friday sale and it was something I've been eyeing for awhile. On the same note, my father was able to buy a Nike Vapor Speed driver for only $100 from a fairly small website.

I've been contemplating about updating my bag. I've currently got a SunMountain lighter cart bag, Access model with six club slots. I've been thinking of the C130, but not sure of the differences between the black friday deals on the 2015/2016 models and the updated 2017 models. The rangefinder pocket would be nice. I'll probably just stick with my current bag, but will go to GolfGalaxy either online or in-store if I decide to bag a bag.

 

I'm also thinking of new clubs, but will wait for the trade-ins to hit the local stores.

I could be talked into an impulse buy of  a golf buddy or range distance watch.

I wound up getting a C-130 cart bag today, called it an early birthday present (6 months early ;) ). Should work out well for me.

Aaaaannnnnndddd I took it back. I put the SM C-130 on my speedcart pushcart, played around with various configurations of putting my clubs in it, and I just couldn't find a way that I would be happy with. So I took it back to the store and exchanged it for a Titleist ultralight cart bag which should work better for me.

I bought a gift that was about 50% off, and a USB hub that was 25% off. I also went by a Golfsmith that's about to close, but it had been picked almost entirely clean. The closest I came was with a pair of Nike spikes, but they didn't fit quite right, so I left with a full wallet.
