Hi guys

I've been "golfing" for about five years now but have never taken it more seriously than going out about once a month and getting frustrated hitting the ball, never really could hit good looking shots. Fast forward to a couple of weeks ago when I focused on and then changed my swing and immediately started hitting shots that actually look good. Played 18 a couple of days ago and started off with 5 straight pars before hitting three double pars on the back nine to finish with a 98. So for the first time I actually feel like I can start getting some big improvements and hopefully can find some awesome stuff on this site. Helps that "winter" is in the rear view mirror in Louisiana so I can start playing a lot more.

      Okay, I'm genuinely curious about this "biodegradable leather" trend in golf. Are we talking snake oil here? I mean, golf balls, clubs... they all end up in the water eventually. Is this just greenwashing, or is there actually a real environmental benefit? And honestly, does it even perform as well as traditional leather? I don't want to sacrifice distance for the planet, you know? Anyone with real-world experience with these eco-friendly golf goods? Spill the tea!
