Love the course, hate the timing! Would like to see Poulter or Donald get over the hump as an English supporter, but just a worthy winner will do

Can we talk about how good Wes Bryan is? One of 11 players ever to get a battlefield promotion from the Web.com Tour and then follows that up with a win here? I'm impressed. Winning on the Web.com Tour is freaking tough, but doing it 3 times and then winning on the PGA Tour is nails.

He doesn't overpower courses like some players do, so he probably will be most successful at specific courses like this one. Nothing wrong with that. Luke Donald has made a pretty good living doing that.

Agreed, it should be one of the premier non-major events of the year but it gets lost in the post-Masters hangover.

It's just a shame that most of the big names don't play it. It's a very different course to most of the target based stuff on the Tour and rewards players who think around the course. Just more interesting viewing in my opinion.

Pleased for Bryan, even if I'd have liked Donald to get it.

OHHH!!   I completely forgot about it.

Day 3, Duffner sinks a birdie to tie for the lead or one shy or something and the announcers see him walk off the green with Duff-face - totally deadpan and they go off on a riff:

"Oh my gosh, look at the utter joy on his face"  "what a demonstration of complete enthusiasm" "what a total look of happiness on his face, you can tell he wanted that one" etc etc etc for about 90 seconds

I couldn't have been more happy to listen to that commentary - NICELY done faceless commentators...nicely done

Only ten posts in the RBC Heritage thread?  Looks like we were all in a post-Masters hangover as well!

Always enjoying watching this course on TV, even if I feel like I'd shoot around 140 in a round if I actually played it.  Was hoping my countryman DeLaet would be the one with the breakout victory, but oh well.
