I have a guy trying to trade me a set clubs. They're Knight XR 4's and he says they're around 10 years old. From the pictures, the clubs are in fantastic condition and hardly look played at all. He said he payed over $700 back then for the full set and values them now at around $400. Does anyone know anything about these or a ballpark value? I've tried looking them up but can hardly find anything about them. Thanks!

I am fairly sure they are not worth $400. Not being able to find anything on them is another clue to their lack of value.

Maybe worth $50.

This one for sale includes woods for $125

I have encountered Knight golf clubs in a handful of select locations: Thrift stores, yard sales, pawn shops, and garbage cans.  Not saying they aren't great clubs; but they usually go for around two dollars each.

In der bag:
Cleveland Hi-Bore driver, Maltby 5 wood, Maltby hybrid, Maltby irons and wedges (23 to 50) Vokey 59/07, Cleveland Niblick (LH-42), and a Maltby mallet putter.                                                                                                                                                 "When the going gets tough...it's tough to get going."

The Knight brand, iirc, was the brand of King Par from Flushing, Michigan.   King Par is no longer in business.   Knight was their store brand that were sort of an entry level club for newer players that were getting into the game.   King Par also had the Orlimar brand.   neither was the quality of the brand names.     I would not pay $400.

Knight clubs are still around? I remember them from the dim and distant past, but haven't seen them recently. Who knows how many times that name has been sold off!

Ain't no way those clubs are worth 4 hundy! That guy is either trying to hose you, or he's uninformed. got hosed himself, and thinks that's really what the clubs are worth!

Run away, fast and screaming!

I'm definitely NOT buying them or making a trade for them! I'll at least have a little knowledge to throw his way so he knows what he has. Pretty sure he's not really "informed"!
