I have purchased from Alibaba before. But it was non-golf related and I was buying in bulk to sell on Amazon. As for AliExpress, I have heard a ton of great things. Obviously, the driver is coming from China so it will take awhile to get to you. What you should know though is that there is always the risk of a seller screwing you over and stealing your money. Unlikely but it has happened and you don't have the same protections you would have if buying from an American company. This guide gives you more information but it essentially comes down to finding a reputable seller who you can trust. It looks like there have been some good reviews of the company so I think the risk is minimal. https://www.aliexpress.com/store/feedback-score/3010066.html?spm=2114.12010608.0.0.2995e5c0BSlFRl

Hope this helps!

Couple things, I think it might be a fake. It is missing the "taylormade" lettering towards the toe of the driver, as well as the M1 logo towards the heel.

Might be the camera angle but it also looks like the black part of the crown is just regular black instead of the carbon fiber looking black.

See this image and compare with their pics, the one from China is on the left, the one on the right is a stock image from google. It very well might be a real legit model, but based on the things I have seen so far, i'd be suspicious. You can get a used one for under $300, in my opinion, I'd rather pay a little more knowing I am getting the real deal.

They are not supposed to sell them under the brand name so it's blacked out IMO.

You get buyer protection - the seller doesn't get the money until 60 days pass or until you confirm goods received. If it doesn't come in 50-55 days you open a dispute and get your money back.

You might need to pay customs and import charges on top of the price though.

I saw that driver but it's a bit risky as it could be a fake. I did order a superstroke grip that was 100% authentic for under $10.

I can tell you right now that almost everything on AliExpress is going to be counterfeit, and it will take you about 3 weeks to receive your items because they all ship from China. That said, if you don't mind them being counterfeit some of the products aren't bad. I bought a Scotty Cameron putter I knew to be fake on the site for fun and when it arrived it was just about spot on. Took it to a guy I know who is a Scotty Cameron collector and his only question about the putter was why I spent so much until I told him it was a fake. After knowing it was a fake he was still only able to find the issue that the lettering on the face of the putter was squared at the ends instead of rounded like on a real putter. Felt nice to putt with and it's pretty fun to at least mess around with even though it can't be used in competition.

@Pretzel, why can't it be used for competition?

It isn't a conforming club since it has never been tested and approved by the USGA. It mimics a conforming club, but I don't believe that is good enough for stuff like the U.S. Amateur Qualifier or U.S. Open Qualifier shenanigans. If it was clearly in the ok I would putt with it since it looks like the real deal, putts like the real deal (feels just as good or better than my real 2016 Notchback), and it cost me a fair amount less than my real putter did if it were to be "misplaced" while I was in the clubhouse or a bathroom. I also got to order it with the length and lie that I wanted, so it does fit me a bit better than the one that I actually end up using.

    • Day 333 - Practiced putting today. My starting line was pretty bad, but improved as I went on. I need to work more on my setup.
    • Day 151: did a stack session. Worked on some rehearsal takeaways for my backswing stuff between sets.
    • Day 226 (15 Dec 24) - Easy day, limited swings with middle irons and hard foam balls.   Focus was on setup and tempo.
    • Day 6: 12/15/2024 Today I worked on my PPJ priority piece in front of the mirror for a bit, then I took it out to the garage and hit some balls into the net. That felt productive. At first I had to battle my hit instinct and my "old swing". But I found if I did my PPJ one piece at a time and then added the next part to it I got to where I was making some solid contact into the net and I really started to feel ... dare I say comfortable. Well at least not like an insane-chicken on no-doze.  Tomorrow more slow-mo mirrors and then more hitting into the net. I really don't want to start reacting to ball flight yet.
