What other clubs besides 4-iron -> PW/AW do I need?

Hello I just got a set of iron's 4 thru pw,aw is there any more clubs I should add as far as wedges go thanks

Probably should add a sand wedge.

Sand wedge is recommended.  56 degrees, get high bounce.  Used is fine for now.  Ask your friends if they have an old one they can part with.

Get a putter.  Unless you're ready to get fit for a super awesome one (Edel are really popular around here), go to the putters area of your golf shop and play around for an hour and look for one you like.

If you're playing anything longer than a small executive course, get a club you can hit off the tee on par-4 and par-5 holes.  A well fit driver (careful with things like flex, and you probably want high loft) is likely your best bet here because it's more forgiving -- long gone are the days where a 3-wood off the tee is preferable.  Alternately, a five-wood or a 3-hybrid are clubs you'll likely want at some point and you can get a feeling for how golf works hitting one or the other off the tee (but ultimately, you want distance off the tee).

I sense a disturbance in the force (borrowing line from Gerry) and will not be surprized to see a mention of a particular brand of rescue wedge coming.  2 separate and nearly identical posts from 2 different newbs- coincidence or memorex?  or more than likely paranoia on my part.
