Day 2: 3/21/2023

Got to the outdoor range today to work on priority pieces. After doing some block work with my 6 iron, I found out the guy hitting balls next to me had spent some time on one of the mini-tours. So naturally I challenged him to a closest to the pin competition hitting balls at several different targets. Anywhere from 30 yards to about 165 yards. He won most of them... go figure. It was fun and he was a good guy.

Later I did Day 15 from the Covid-19 30-day practice challenge. Just to make sure I keep my putting stroke somewhere near descent.

A mix I am forever tinkering with.

Day 1: first was just checking set up. Hips over ankles as I have a tendency to get behind them.

From there, it was lots of slow motion rehearsal swings and half swings to keep my trail hip from getting to far behind me and then towards the ball. Trying to have my hips go more linear. Completely different “feel”/body movement than I had previously. Just a slow grind to ingrain it.

Day 7:

Refrigerator malfunction tonight so all my evening daylight time was spent moving food to spare storage in the garage. Did some indoor work without ball. Literally 5 minutes worth.

Day 3: 3/22/2023

Did a couple things today.
Hit balls in the garage in the early AM.

Later when to the range to work on my priority pieces. I can tell by the ball flight when I get it correct. But I'm still going to try to get some good video in this week.

Finished late at night with the putting mirror on my office putting mat.

My bag is an ever-changing combination of clubs.

Day 2: kept up working the hips with the slow rehearsals. Being linear. That will be an everyday repeating thing. Also, just did some pitch shots. Focusing on letting the club just drop as I turn through the ball.

Day 4: 3/23/2023

I didn't make it to the outdoor range today. ... Time kind of got away from me.

I did get in the garage net and work on my priority pieces.

I'm going to try to get some video this week end to check my progress.

    • I had a few tweeks in the bag. I took out my Mizuno pro FliHi 3 iron replaced it with a Titleist GT2 7 Wood. what a change that is, so easy to hit, it goes so high without it ballooning on me. I couldn't get rid of my callaway woods ( Rogue ST Max LS ) but changed the shafts to Diamana BB 63 stiff for the driver and 73 stiff for the 3 wood. Than i got myself a new putter Odyssey S2S jailbird yes i joined the centershaft family
    • First off all i think you should use the same ball all the time. We all strive for consistency on the course, the only factor you can be sure it will be always the same is your ball if you always use the same. So i think we should always use the same. I recently switched from Titleist Pro V1x to Srixon Z-Star Diamond because it i get a bit softer feel around the greens and same results on driver and irons
