Day 43:

Short game practice, and maybe 15 minutes of full swing figuring out a feel/thought for tomorrow’s round. Planned to do a Stack session but got home too late from a birthday party.

Day 44:

Played 18. Only a few really penal left misses, and they were on awful swings, both pull-topped. Most shots were straight to slight push fades, which I'm happy with. Had a really unlucky break for a triple-bogey on the 3rd hole; a 9-iron approach that looked perfect in-flight landed pin high on the green, but because of the recent heat wave, the green might as well have been the cart path and the ball bounced about 30 yards over and into a penalty area. Had a triple-bogey on the 14th hole too, but that was the result of terrible golf.

Day 92: played 9 holes. Shot a +1. 2 birdies, 3 bogeys. Need to clean up a few things with short game and actually hit some fairways, but was solid overall.

Day 7: 10/08/2023

Mirror work today. Wanted to get to the range but couldn't. 
Hit some balls in the garage focusing on my priority pieces and then did slow mo work in front of the mirror to reinforce. 

My bag is an ever-changing combination of clubs. 

A mix I am forever tinkering with.

Day 5 (08 Oct 23) - Continued working with 8i and hard foam balls on 1/2 to 3/4 swings, focused on getting core rotation thru.  Followed up with a few pitches with the 54* wedge.

Day 156 - Filmed dry swings focusing on the right arm. 

Adjusting the right arm at setup made a huge difference. Excited to see how this will transfer over when there's a ball in the way.

Day 93: Played 18 holes. Not my best - driver needs work because the club is too closed. That said, had a good putting day, which is nice. And still shot 81.

Day 6 (09 Oct 23) -  Busy day, put in some lag / speed drills with putter.  Focused on stepping the balls - each putt shorter than the previous, starting about 10’ - no shorter than 4’.

Day 45:

Started working on full swing priority piece but was tired and feeling a bit under the weather so switched gears to pitching practice. Felt a little energized after dinner so did fit for golf workout.

Day 7 (10 Oct 23) - An easy day of working on full swing and weight shift.  No balls were hit or harmed in the course of this drill.

      Question About UK vs. U.S. Course Etiquette

      The term I hear most often is "double teeing" which means the course/club has starting times from both the #1 and #10 tee.  I have encountered this many times and we know if we are the first group off #10, we may well get to #1 and have to wait because there are groups still with tee times yet to tee of #1.  In most instances, where the course/club has a starter, he normally explains this situation.  In this case, the pro advised what you would could/would encounter making the turn to #1.  And, that is exactly what happened.  Probably would have been wise to talk to the pro after playing back 9 and ask when you could go off #1 since apparently that club does not double tee.   Regardless, the outburst towards the other group was uncalled for.  And, I don't blame the member for being upset.  As a member of a private club, you are responsible for the actions of your guest.  I have played many times as a guest in the UK and I am pretty damn sure my host was responsible for my actions while at the club.  I know at the clubs I have belonged to here in the US, that is the way it is.  As a matter of fact, the member may find himself being brought before management and facing possible suspension.  So, I don't blame him for being upset.  However, as the host, he really should have stepped up and put a stop to the OP's actions.  OP makes this statement "I now understand that standards are different on the "private course." But I'll take those lessons to the muni, too."  No, the standards are not different.  You, sir, seem to be just a bit hard headed and belligerent, even if you are college professor...which possibly explains a lot.   JMHO

      Day 32: worked for about 10 minutes on my drill. Filmed it as well for a check in. I think it’s slightly better but still seeing some issues.

      Day 44 (26 Dec 25)  -  played in the Friday men’s shootout with a twist - used the Toney Penna persimmons and MacGregor blades - had a blast playing these clubs.  They really help in zoning in on making solid ball contact.  Scoring was solid - had several looks at birdie and had a few par saves.  Overall a day of focused course management.
