Day 51 (29 Jan 24)  - Continued work with club position adding vertical alignment rod to promote in to out downswing path.

Day 33 - 1/29/24

worked on grip, alignment and stance. Then putted through 50 mm gates for about 30 minutes. Not my best putting session after several good ones.

Day 52 (30 Jan 24) - Worked thru the irons, easy pitches using hard foam balls focused on pre-shot rehearsal to reinforce club positioning at P2 - 6 - 8.

Day34- 1/30/24

Putted through 50 mm gates with modest success.  Planned on a Stack training session tonight but we received a foster dog and had to alter plans.  3-year old hound is acclimating nicely.

Three hours downtown with @DrizZzY. Mixed up the backswing a little bit to be a bit more rotational early, hingey later. Will give it a few days. Not disappointed with the hits from there.

Day 205: did some mirror work, working on the same downswing stuff. Speeding it up a little bit, too, to convert it into the full swing better.

Day 1: played sim golf. Was fun. Good practice with hitting different clubs and seeing how my swing felt with a result tied in.

Day 35- 1/31/24

Stack Full Speed Spectrum training session. I was a little slow tonight. Our new foster dog was up most of the night and so was I. Hopefully, I will be faster next time.

Day 206: essentially the same thing as yesterday - mirror work, working on downswing stuff. Trying to speed it up a bit, getting the hands moving faster.

Day 1: Starting up again. Worked for a few minutes indoors on my priority feels hitting a foam ball into my net. Did slower swings. Then did the short game pitch we were taught in Erie last year. Really focused on keeping eye contact on the ball through impact.

Day 54 (01 Feb 24) - Long day of work in the shop, able to get in some easy pitches with 8i, began at 15yds, moved to 20, then out to 25.  Hitting in 6 ball groups, focused on low flights and roll out to target pin.  Continued with the preshot rehearsal of checking club face position…

      Is it? I bought the Stack radar to replace my PRGR based on what Stack told me! When I am swinging for speed, the PRGR would miss 50%-80% of my backswings due to a higher speed. The stack seldom misses those- at least for me.

      Differential vs Course Handicap

      As an analyst by nature, I would like to compare the scores under both systems. It is something we can easily do if we have the data. I actually thought the new system was less fair to those whose game was on the decline - like mine! Old: Best 10 of last 20 scores with the .96 multiplier. Course handicap excluded course rating and overall par. New: Best 8/20. Course handicap includes course rating -par. My understanding is Stableford caps scores at Net double bogey like stroke play. If so, handicap should be slower to rise because you are only using 8 versus 10 scores. If I am missing something, I am curious enough to  want to understand what that may be. My home course tees that I play are 72.1/154 now. My best score out here is 82. When my game started to decline, my handicap didn’t budge for 13 rounds because of good scores in my first 8! I know I am an anomaly but my handicap has increased almost 80% in the past few years (with only a few rounds this year). For a few months I knew I was losing every bet because my game was nowhere near my handicap. I suspect I have steamrolled a few nuances but that shouldn’t matter much. When I have modeled this with someone playing the same tees and course, one good round, or return to form, will immediately reduce the handicap by some amount.
