Day 46 - Did some putting work and noticed that my wrists were fully locked. Spent time focusing solely on softer wrists.

TST was down for me last night, so hopefully this still counts for Friday.

Day 475, February 17, 2024

Injured my left knee (meniscus maybe?) at soccer last night, so really tough to bend it and use it. So, I worked on chipping. It was about the most I could do with mild discomfort only. It's already feeling a bit better now — I can go up and down stairs without looking too awkward.

Day 70 (17 Feb 24) - an easy day with some swings with the 7i and Divot Board - kept swings to 1/2 swings - focusing on impact after the ball target.

Left knee feels surprisingly good today, but… just some more short game work. Varying the heights while still getting spin.

Day 53: 2/18/24

Stack training Full Swing Spectrum session 24/24. Finished 1 mph slower than previous max for this session and 4 mph slower than other Full Swing Speed Spectrum sessions. Will chalk it up to cooler weather. Measure progress in a couple of days.

Day 71 (18 Feb 24) - Worked with divot board, keeping swings to no more than 1/2.  Interesting to see how the club face tracks thru impact….

Day 224: mirror work today. Worked on the same downswing stuff. Warmer week upcoming, so thinking I should be able to get out and film some swing videos.

DAY 1:  Ghost swings at work.  Focus on takeaway and transition.

Day 72 (19 Feb 24) - Played 18 today with son and grandson.  A little windy and chilly, but still fun.  Good day with wedges and putter - as I had 4 up and downs for par, of the other 5 looks at par, one was for birdie and the others two putts for par.

Slow motion swings earlier today. Finished the night with some indoor putting and chipping.

      Is it? I bought the Stack radar to replace my PRGR based on what Stack told me! When I am swinging for speed, the PRGR would miss 50%-80% of my backswings due to a higher speed. The stack seldom misses those- at least for me.

      Differential vs Course Handicap

      As an analyst by nature, I would like to compare the scores under both systems. It is something we can easily do if we have the data. I actually thought the new system was less fair to those whose game was on the decline - like mine! Old: Best 10 of last 20 scores with the .96 multiplier. Course handicap excluded course rating and overall par. New: Best 8/20. Course handicap includes course rating -par. My understanding is Stableford caps scores at Net double bogey like stroke play. If so, handicap should be slower to rise because you are only using 8 versus 10 scores. If I am missing something, I am curious enough to  want to understand what that may be. My home course tees that I play are 72.1/154 now. My best score out here is 82. When my game started to decline, my handicap didn’t budge for 13 rounds because of good scores in my first 8! I know I am an anomaly but my handicap has increased almost 80% in the past few years (with only a few rounds this year). For a few months I knew I was losing every bet because my game was nowhere near my handicap. I suspect I have steamrolled a few nuances but that shouldn’t matter much. When I have modeled this with someone playing the same tees and course, one good round, or return to form, will immediately reduce the handicap by some amount.
