I have caved in driver faces, but never a club like that.

My driver usually only lasts a season I got the gapr to because it’s actually a really nice club off the tee for me like 300 and super workable. Taylor made has said they haven’t seen one do that so I’m just asking to see if they are full of it lol.

You only hit 40 balls and the heel/sole of the club looked like that already? That is terrible and seems like the black finish is wearing off very very quickly

Nope that’s a day at the range , here’s the new one I got today

I stand by my comment. The original picture seems to show an extreme amount of wear and use for just one range session.

Curious to see what the new club looks like after one range session

I agree..only 40 balls and the wear and scuffs are awful.  Near the heel and sole in that area look awful.  I'm not a fan of any black clubs for that reason.

Yeah the new gapr I received as a replacement Isent doing much better, I got fit for a mizuno hi fi 2 iron today thing feels like butter but 10mph slower swing speed here is another pic of the broken one I think the speed foam is making it look more used  then it was.

Was the shaft in the Mizuno the same material, length, and weight as the TaylorMade?

How do you like the 2 iron so far as a whole? I ordered a component 2 iron off eBay fitted with a project x 6.5 shaft for $89 on a whim but wanted to see how you like it so far as I know we have similar swing speeds based on your other thread. Hoping it will be a nice easy 275 yard fairway finder lol.

The mizuno was fit inlign with my irons kbs 130 x c tapper “ love it”, the gapr have a im asumming it’s a rescue shaft length speeder evo x tour spec “ super forgiving and Long!!!!!” But I can’t shape the shots I wanted and it seemed limited out of hazards on par 5s I’m hoping the 2hi fi will find some greens , and the gapr is more for tee shots.

Tee shots are what I'm thinking I will use it for most often. Don't have enough real long par 5's at my home course that require much more than a 6 or 7 iron for me on my 2nd shot provided a good tee shot. Hoping it will be a nice control club when things go bad for my woods.
