Train Your Aim by David Keller Member Review Discussion Thread

Interesting video, something i noticed is Tya is only going to have a benefit if the basic fundamentals are used aim stance pace. Looking at this video his open stance line not consistent he's putting to fast and not making sure the line and aim is straight. jmo- 23 replies

Train Your Aim by David Keller Member Review Discussion Thread

The only changes i would have made was color choice. I would have made the Aim line in white and the alignment line in black so show some contrast , I emailed Dave and told him that overall it's a simple cost effective aid. What-ever helps me get the ball in the hole i'm good with....- 23 replies

Achieved a 6.5 handicap in less than 1 year of golfing

Quote: That is awesome keep. I started golf late in life @ 29, (Former D1 baseball player) I'm 47 now and a solid 7, I've put in a lot of work with 2 kids baseball practice, hockey, cheerleading. You know the drill my key has been just hitting balls on the range then taking that to the course. my goal is to get to a solid 3/4 hcp. I think that's about 2-3 year away. I shot well over 100 first time out (didnt keep score) but I improved rapidly. I dont even remember breaking 90 but it was very quickly after breaking 100. I broke 80 (officially) for the first time a month ago at a difficult 6800 yard course and never looked back. Ive had several rounds in the 70's since with lowest and most recent being a 73 (6250 yards) which included 5 birdies and a hole out for my 4th eagle ever. I still have rounds where I look like a 28 handicap like a recent 92 but the good and great rounds are becoming more common. I love playing the game like this. Something else worth mentioning is that I have had 10 lessons with the local pro (great guy) and that made the biggest difference of anything. I'm playing... Nothing, I'm sure the change is just for the slower greens. If he wins it may be a different story

Nothing Special but it works, note: Driver has been replaced (R7 460 TP 10.5) 3 wood Cleveland Launcher Steel.

Well i speak from my experience i have both a Yes Callie (back up owned 4 years and current gamer Yes Dawn 34". I have putted the best with the Dawn, it fits my eye the weight is perfect. I know their are a lot of folks that will dismiss the groove technology but for me it works you just have to find the best model that works for you.

Inexpensive Driver Recommendations???
mlb12 replied to Par Fore's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
Go with a Titleist 905R can be had for less than $110.. -
Erik, Have to agree on the AP2's i just picked mine up today and I'm glad i did not pass judgement based on pictures they look totally different in person. The top-line and sole are slightly larger than my 735 cm's but i don't think it will be an issue. Can't wait to hit New Smyrna Beach FL in a couple of weeks to put these into play.

I'm not long at all but i hit most fairways 255-260 (carry) mlb12

I don't know if he's really trying to be Cocky or confident in his ability to be number one someday, he's not the first kid to come out and say they want to be #1 in the world someday. We live in a different era now where Kids are told from a very young age you are the best and can compete at the highest level. Look at all the youth on tour now that has that same attitude. Anthony Kim, Rory Sabbatini ,( we know his deal) Sergio, etc. Let's see how this plays out once the season starts it's one thing to say something to a reporter with a note pad, and another when tiger is playing in your group with 30,000 people following your every move.
