Looks like some kind of driving iron - couldn't find anything on the net. Does anyone know?

Just to the right of the red stripe on the driver cover.

Perhaps it's a Ping Rapture driving iron - lines just look different.

During Scottish Open they went through the bag a bit on Sky Sports with his caddy. But I can not remember details at all. Perhaps someone else does.

It looks like it is the Callaway utility to me. Has anyone here ever used a driving iron? I assume you just get a lower ball flight than say a GI long iron?

It looks like it is the Callaway utility to me. Has anyone here ever used a driving iron? I assume you just get a lower ball flight than say a GI long iron?

Just the opposite, they help you get a higher ball flight, they have a lower center of gravity.

I just found out they are hollow. That would makes sense then.

Yeah, they're an alternative to the hybrid - different look at address and different turf interaction.

Of course, but hitting it as an iron, you hit the ground afterwards also.

Hmmmm... You got me on that one, I'm not sure. Being that I suck and don't have the most consistent contact I really couldn't say...
