Interesting find at the local antique center...

The guy at the register said it came from an estate where the guy was golf-crazy.

Hopefully the image shows up (I don't usually share from Google pictures.)

A gallery with this and some closeup pictures are here:

Yep, it was pretty cheap.

How much is "pretty cheap?"    The stuff looks genuine and valuable.

Driving putter?  I looked it up on google and it was for disc golf.   First time I've heard of driving putter in golf.

Pretty cheap is $25.  Definitely not real... it's only 20 1/2" wide.  This was a sweet find today; I never find cool stuff at this place that is also not priced out the roof.

Here's an odd link from South Africa that is selling the same thing: http://www.bidorbuy.co.za/item/149682859/Vintage_Mini_Golfing_Items_in_Display_Cabinet_Dickson_Driving_Putter_1895_Feathery_Ball_1842_etc.html

Though it's more than likely that the one I just bought was on ebay for a while and this other site just scraped it and is a scam.

Not bad.   It'd make a good addition to my wall.
