Hello from Switzerland

11 posts in this topic

Hi everybody, I have been digging around the forum for the last year and a bit now. Originally started playing golf 5 years ago after my volleyball career and got serious about it in the last two years while it's not snowing over here in Europe ;) Still hoping to get my EGA Handicap under the magic 18 by the end of the year

Hello and welcome :)

I used to play volleyball in my younger days.  How are the courses in Switzerland.

Welcome to The Sand Trap.  I've been to Zurich and had a lovely time there.

Hi @TheKaizer

Welcome to the Trap. I've been to Geneva and Neuchâtel. Beautiful country but damn, it's expensive there. :bugout:

hehe yes, it is. but beautiful as well. golf is pretty much a small community due to their licensing system. courses are in great condition and have amazing views as long as you like walking up those hills (rarely any golf carts around)

I had this Italian cab driver in Zurich who had been living in Switzerland for 20 years. He loved it. I asked him the difference.  He said in Italy you pay the same amount in taxes, but in Switzerland everything works and is on time!
