... from Hamburg, Germany. I am 29 years old and I started playing golf in May 2014. Ever since I struck my first ball down the driving range I am absolutely addicted to the game. I am now 17 months into it and I am a 26.4 handicap. Due to a wicked slice I hate hitting tee shots, I am relaxed when it comes to my approach shots and I enjoy the short game. Nevertheless: I am not satisfied with my current handicap. If I could hit a reliable tee shot I could do a lot better.

I am quite embarrassed, but I haven't been on the range for 3 months. I simply played 1-3 rounds of golf per week and tried to take it from there. I decided to take the rest of 2015 easy and focus onto 2016. I will hit the driving range 2-3 times per week from tomorrow onwards and only play 18 holes weekends. My goal is to fix my dreaded slice and come back with a solid drive off the tee in 2016.

I decided to get properly fitted 3 months ago. I am really happy with my clubs. I bought my first driver two days ago.
