Nice 66 for the 3rd round, and 70 for the 4th for a T24.

Playing in his adopted hometown of the Tampa Bay area next week, hoping for some good results for JD and Trevor Immelman.

Can't wait, taking the boys for 4 days. Vacation days on Thursday and Friday this week......I Rule.

Nice field with Paddy, VJ, Sergio, Kenny Perry...and plenty of others.

I really enjoyed watching JD play for the last couple days (when GC actually showed him). His eagle putt was great...and watching the ball slam the crew, hilarious. Hopefully he's turning around and will have another great week in Tampa. How about his girlfriend? You guys think she's there for the right reasons? Sometimes it seems as if she might be digging a tad.....imo.

I don't think there is any doubt about that. That's all he has ever been hooked up with. Hopefully, he will be smart enough to not marry again.

She seems all right to me. I'm sure she's attracted to JD in large part because of who he is, but you can also say that about JD. When you get down to it theres a lot of that in every relationship.

Not really that exciting. His ball hit a camera crew near a green and he sank a long putt. That's about it.

In the race of life, always back self-interest. At least you know it's trying.

I guess its not all that exciting, it was just nice to see him get an eagle. When I first saw the footage, it showed him hit right into the crew, and I thought, "ohh, damn, here he goes again...", then he made the eagle...ended up with his best finish for at least as long as I have been watching him.

Yep, thats about it. But we're on a forum and it's a place for opinions. Seeing John Daly do anything positive is great if you're a fan of the guy.

I hope JD really gets it together for good this time. I've always liked the big hearted guy, but he wallos in self pitty way to much to get his life together. Lets hope he has turned the corner for a better life and golf game.

"Nobody knows what it's like to be John Daly" I've got news for him.....he has it made if HE would just get it together. Most people have way tougher lives than he does and he needs to realize that!!

Man if he can only get his putter going. Watched him last night playing in the first round of the Transitions. He could have easily shot a couple of strokes lower. THOUGH he was close to missing some of those 3 - 4 footers too.

His shot on 18 was clutch.

I'm pulling for Daily but I also think its a little funny on the golf channel and how they have him say "you don't know what its like being Daly" I mean really cmon. The guy is a professional golfer and many people have much worse lives then he could even imagine. He might have made bad decisions in his life but no need to feel sorry for him.
