Opinions. Its definitely good for the tournament which will gather more attention and feature a star studded lineup. What will he do ???

Re: Tiger Commits to Memorial

imho he'll make the cut and be near the end in pairings come Sunday, but at this time in his career (with so much off the course issues and to be honest his play hasn't been Tiger-Like) I doubt he really will be any threat for winning it.

top 10 but never really in it. not until he talks to a good coach.

Re: Tiger Commits to Memorial

He'll make the cut, play in the top 20 for the first half, withdraw before it's over and then go home to cry and his pillow sobbing "daddy, I'm sorry" before falling asleep.

Re: Tiger Commits to Memorial

I'm guessing he will slice a shot a mile right, slam the club in the ground, drop a bunch of GD bombs, blame it on Hank and WD a couple holes later with a sore throat or something.

Off topic.....I did hear the other day that Tiger said he has just been following his late fathers advice the past couple of years, which was "to just play golf to the best of your ability, win everything you can and screw everything else" He did all three pretty well.

Back in April, he submitted his entry to play but I haven't heard any new US Open news regarding him.

Re: Tiger Commits to Memorial

This thread made me think of Tiger and Jack walking the fairway together in the skins game last year and Jack telling Tiger that "the more kids you have, the easier it gets because they really start to take care of one another after you have 3 or 4......"

Oh, how things have changed in a year...I wonder what they will talk about now?

Re: Tiger Commits to Memorial

He’ll find a way to make the cut, but will still be trying to find a way of fixing his swing woes. I say a top 25 for tiger.

Re: Tiger Commits to Memorial

Who knows what tiger is going to show up. He might nuke the field, or he might not even make the cut. He is the most inconsistant ive ever seen him. I do know one thing though. Tiger has gone on funks like he is in now before. Whenever he shook himself out of it, he then went on a ass kicking tirade for months. This could be the week, or not.

Re: Tiger Commits to Memorial

It looks like his days of celibacy are over. I think he will be playing better golf now.

I bet he wins the skins game again, and the tournament.
