Today is a good day for a loyal Ranger fan like myself. They were finally able to get their bullpen up to shape with the addition of Clif Lee and the way C.J. Wilson pitched out of his mind this year. Can't wait to see how they do in the playoffs! Go Rangers!

Rangers looked mighty good yesterday....if they play like that again today, the traffic on Saturday to the Ballpark will be a "nightmare" due to the aggies and pigs playing the football down the street at the same time

They did look pretty solid, hopefully they can get this series to 2-0 heading into Arlington. That 3-0 Cruz Missssssssiiiillllleee was a shot! I couldn't believe how far he hit that ball.

I went to multiple Ranger games during the summer and the traffic was bad with just one game going on. I can't imagine what it's going to be like with those parking lots pretty much adjacent to eachother. Sounds like hell to me haha

Rangers did play very well yesterday. Price is 0-2 when the stadium sells out lol. Hopefully "Big Game" James pitches his ass off today. I want a closer game, regardless of who wins.(Hopefully Rays) lol

It's really disappointing to see the Rays flame out like this.

It really is. Im not one to live in the past, but that check swing should have been an out. Then the guy turns around and hits a 3 run bomb. I have told all of my buddies, if the Rays win tomorrow, there is no way they are going to be able to rally against Lee on Sunday. Going back to Texas down 2 was a fatal error. Now the Rangers better beat the Yankees, because I know my Rays would have.

Well the Rays didn't go without a fight, they sure scared that crap out of me. haha Now the Rangers will be going into the ALCS partially handicapped. Cliff Lee won't be able to pitch until game 3 and game 7 if it comes to that. It's going to be an uphill climb for them now.

How about the Rangers celebrating with ginger ale instead of champagne so that Josh Hamilton could participate in the fun. I love the watching them. It's like they are kids in little league just having fun. Go Rangers!

Yeah I thought it was pretty cool that they used ginger ale at the end instead. Too bad whoever wins the AL is going to lose to the Phillies :)

haha yeah, the Phillies are the strongest team in the playoffs imo. There rotation is stacked and their offense isn't bad either. However, I'm glad they are playing the Giants...I think they have the best chance at spoiling their World Series plans haha. If the Rangers can make it through, I damn sure would rather play the Giants ;)

I agree with you. I bet the Yankees were pretty happy that it went to Game 5. That way they know they are not facing Price or Lee till later in the series.

The Yankees/Rangers series should be really good, alot of scoring, and alot of close games. Each team really only has one consistently dominant pitcher, and each team has a lineup stacked from top to bottom with guys that can hurt you, especially now for the Yankees that Berkman remembered how to hit a ball. I'd expect it to go 4-2 or 4-3 in favor of the Yanks, just because I feel that the Yankees have a better chance beating Lee than the Rangers have of beating Sabathia, and whichever team figures the other's ace is going to have a huge advantage in the series.

This series should go long! 6 or 7 games, and all close ones! I want the Rangers to win, but I can't say which way it will go for sure! They were 4-4 during the regular season, so it is pretty evenly stacked as said above!

What did you guys think about the Rangers supporting Hamilton by spraying Ginger Ale instead of Champagne? Ron Washington is a "class act"!

I was really impressed by the ginger ale celebration. Not that I am a tee-totaler and champaign and beer celebrations are classics but it was a nice gesture to the new batting champ. If it wasn't going to be Mauer (again for the 4th time) may as well go to a guy that fought like hell to come back like Hamilton did. I think it says a lot about the Rangers this year and since Nolan Ryan is the biggest bad ass that ever walked the planet Ill be pulling for Texas. When Robin Ventura stormed the mound and Ryan was landing haymaker after haymaker is one of the all time greatest moments in sports. That and I remember when Ron Washington played for the Twins so good karma all the way around.
