I live 20 mins from Woburn GC, his home course, where this was filmed. I have yet to even play there, but I did go and watch a Senior European Tour Event there.

I live 20 mins from Woburn GC, his home course, where this was filmed. I have yet to even play there, but I did go and watch a Senior European Tour Event there.

Is the course as crappy as it looked in the video? I know that they made it drab looking to emphasize the point, and it's probably the camera, but is it supposed to be a nice course?

No the first part of the video isn't Woburn haha!!! The second part with Poults in it is Woburn. Yes, it's considered the one of the best courses in Southern England.

I would think that having a beer after a game of golf and then driving home is normal thing to do at most golf clubs. There is no implication of irresponsibility here.

In fact, in my country, it is actively encouraged. One of the things that makes clubs struggle financially is when people just play golf and go home. Members' patronage of the bar facilities is very important. And ,obviously, responsible consumption of alcohol is required by law.

In the race of life, always back self-interest. At least you know it's trying.

I know, which is why I included that second sentence. But billysandy said that there was a Senior Euro Tour event there, so I was wondering just how crappy it was.
