Wow.............just wow..

I think her Dad probably had a thing or two to do with it.

The title should be more along the lines of " Michelle Wie- The making a champion, who really isnt a champion yet cause she hasnt won anything!!"

More than a little preconceived I would say.

Hi

shes a money making machine for her father i think

she'll end up like Martina Hingis in tennis-burnt out and retired by the time she's 25! -although Hingis has made a comeback since then.

did anyone know that Sergio Garcia was going out with MH until very recently-he's now seeing Greg Norman's daughter-it's a small world!!

Wow thats all I can say.

How is she a champion she hasn't won jack sh!t. Except missed a bunch of cuts on the mens tour. That just makes me mad, that someone would actually right a book about how she is a champion, she is a great golfer but I think she should have stuck with junior tourneys and then college golf and then went to the tour. IMO its just her father making money. I could go on but I really don't feel like it.

If "very recently" is "four years ago," then yeah, he was dating her "very recently."

It doesn't actually say how many pages are in the "book". I would guess it would be more of a pamphlet than a book. What is she a champ of? And could that fill a whole book??

I think not.

Looks like pretty boring reading.

Say what you will about this book, but I have no doubts Michelle Wie will be a "champion" golfer (on the women's tour) one day. This is obviously another money maker for her and her family led entourage.

Once again this illustrates that she is getting bad advice / management. There are always a ton of fast buck artists out there. Good managers look for long term, high quality deals. They pass when offered this kind of fluff. Is it possible this is aimed at a young girls? Earl Woods is rolling in his grave. This is just the kind of ego trip / distraction he tried to avoid with Tiger.

I checked out amazon.com. It doesn't appear that Wie had anything to do with this project. The writers normal beat appears to be travel. I am sure they would go with a golf or womens sports writer if she was actively involved.

This book is outrageously bold!
I agree with you guys, she has never won anything yet (passing the cut in a men tournament does not mean she has won something!)
But who knows.... if she starts winning since 2007.... then, everybod will say that this book was a premonition! (I personally doubt it though, she has not the mental strength of other real champions)

I trust this will be in the fiction section -- in the highly unlikely event it's even in the local public library; surely this "book" can't be in the biography or non-fiction section. I'll read a non-fiction or biographical book on Wie if and when John Feinstein decides to write about her. Or at least an author I've actually heard of.

The smartes thing MW can do with her 'career' is to immediatelt announce that she will except no more sponsors exemptins as soo ans she misses the cut at the SONY and is embarassed again, this time by Tadd Fujikawa.

Bury me with a golf glove in my pocket - just in case!
