Hello

I know that Precept/Bridgestone has stopped making the MC Lady ball. This was my favorite ball to play, as it was like a lot of ladies I knew....long soft and cheap. Then an article came out in Golf Digest back in the early 2000s(I think) that rated the ball in the top 15 for men to play. The blurb mentioned that it was most comparable to the Pro V with the only downside being that your playing buddies would ridicule you for playing a women's ball. Now they are no longer made. I was able to find some a couple years ago at an online ball site...now I can't even do that. Does anyone know where I might be able to find my lost love?   Any help would be appreciated

Isn't the Laddie the same ball as the MC Lady but just changed the name so that men would buy it?  You can buy that ball online, Rockbottomgolf is selling them for 11.99 a dozen or 9.99 if you buy 3 dozen

This was a popular move in the club I was in back in the early 2000's. The MC Lady went far and played nice on and around the greens - none of us cared about the pink stamping.

We all switched to the Laddie though - green stamping, played the same IMO.

I believe this started the low compression movement. IIRC, most popular options were 90 or 100 before the Lady showed up.

Gambling is illegal at Bushwood sir, and I never slice.

I played that MC Lady Ball years ago. I also tried the Laddie Ball, but it was noticeably not the same, although advertised as such. The Lady ball was as good as anything on the market at the time. Mens' or womens'. I took a few "skirt" jokes from my group, but I seldom lost matches to them.

I had been playing a ball that became no longer available. The Lady Ball was a very close match. All I remember about the previous ball was that it had the word "Power" stamp on it, and was made by either Top Flite, or Titleist. I don't remember which.

After playing the Lady Ball for a while, I ran across the Volvik brand balls, which played better for me. Now I am playing the e-7 ball, only because the Volvik brand is not readily available in my area.
