I wonder how accurate this is. And is caulking a golf term? The video doesn't really go into specifics as to what is measured and doesn't feel like it was made by golfers, but techies.

So it's a game controller. But a game controller on steroids that would in NO WAY translate to your actual game. And a game controller that need a lot more room than the handle thing on the Wii for Tiger Woods Masters Edition. I didn't see anything about hitting an actual ball, either. Oh, and bad spelling and grammar in any kickstarter or indie go-go things are not a good sign. PLUS- if that swing that guy had early in the video resulted in that shot reflected on screen, I want to know who his teacher is.

SkyGolf and others have devices that mount to the shaft of your existing clubs and the Garmin S6 watch provide similar data.  I don't see a market for a specialized club that doesn't match up specs wise to the actual clubs a golfer is using.

Seems odd to me that the Kickstarter page claims they're located in "Soquel, CA," and their twitter account says they're in "United States," but one of the rewards includes "travel for 3 days to Seoul." The domain is registered to someone in Korea, and the site is hosted in Korea. I have nothing against Korea, but I'm very suspicious of businesses that attempt to hide where they're actually located.

It's simple. The thing was probably designed in Soquel CA and I'll bet the construction outsourced to S. Korea and the web site is run in S. Korea. It's done every day. Our major golf club mfg. are based in the US and the clubs are made in China.
