Does anyone have any experience with something like this? It has great reviews, and acts as a battery as well.

I'm thinking of getting two - one for each hand - mostly for my daughter when she plays golf. She just played in an AJGA event that was 32° and snowing with 20 MPH winds for the whole first round.

Hot Hands can only work so well.

Both my wife and I each have 2 of these Zippos that we use in the fall when out deer hunting.  Adjustable heat level and can also be used to recharge a cell phone.

Amazon has them in Green for 23.99.

Neat products. I usually use the Heatmax or Mycoal Grabbers! Way back in the day I bought one, forget the brand, that you'd load up with Zippo lighter fluid for late Winter deer hunting. The thing stunk to high Heaven! I threw it away.

That's hilarious! Mine was stinky too.

I had to trash mine as well. I buy the hot hands at Costco and they come in a massive mega box that lasts me several seasons.

My bag is an ever-changing combination of clubs.

A mix I am forever tinkering with.

I use the hand heaters when I occassionaly play in really cold weather.

Being that I always wear two golf gloves, in colder weather, I also wear two cooking mittens. The heaters fit nicely inside the mittens. They warm the golf gloves, and my hands at the same time. The warmer golf gloves help to keep my hands warm, longer, when not in the mittens.

In colder, breezy weather, I sometimes just use the mittens.

    • Yes, this is the 2024 model. DSG ruined what Callaway perfected for most golfers. A darn good 3 piece golf ball. Now it's a 2 piece cheap ball. To me a 2 piece ball is fine and a 3 piece budget ball is better. I prefer a slightly harder ball, something in the 65-75 compression range that will perform similar to the old Gamer. The Titleist tru-feel is pretty good. I planned on giving Maxfli straightfli a try.
    • Is that the current generation Gamer? Another old standby for a firm and inexpensive ball is Pinnacle.  There are two models, the Rush and the Soft, but I don’t know what compression they are.
    • Good advice, but according to DSG website it is a 45 compression ball. My current ball is the Top-flite Gamer at 70. 45 is too low for me to go.
    • The 3 piece Maxfli Trifli is 2 dozen for $35.  The Trifli does not feel as soft as the Maxfli Softfli, which is why I like it. Other options would be one of the Srixons, which have a buy 2 get 1 free offer.
    • I have been carrying a 7 wood more often this year.  It’s especially handy if you have a downhill lie to an uphill green.  It’s also handy if the rough on the course is deep.
