    • 2 - Doesn't matter which two, but you'd think it would be PW and SW
      4
    • 3 - Very common set up through the 80's and 90's.

    • 4 - Its good to have options

    • 5 - More options or is it because your PW is so delofted you had to stick in another gap wedge?
      3
    • 6 or more - If you answer this, you'd better explain why.

I mainly use two low bounce wedges for everything from ~100 yards and in (52 & 58 - if loft needed, type of green, etc.). Exception being sand wedge for sand only (more bounce). The PW seems to be a full swing 10 iron for the most part (matches iron set in feel). I have better distance and direction control by limiting wedge selection and concentrating on perfecting half\quarter\small back swings. Less stress too. Just grab it and let it fly.

I want the gap between my wedges to be about 4 degrees. So there is not such a big "GAP" between my wedges and/or the rest of my irons.

Right now I use a 47*, 56*, and a 60* but I am looking to buy a 52* or 58*. I'm not really sure on what I would like to get yet.

I carry the PW in my irons set Cleveland Hibore XLis, I carry a set of 3 CG14 wedges 52, 56 & 60 and I have been pretty happy messing around with this new Nickent 47 Putter/Pitcher thingie... I will reduce by at least one once I see what I really like the best but with new clubs and spring practice they are all in there...

I carry 4 wedges: 47*, 52*, 56* and 60*. I do not carry a pitching wedge. My pitching wedge was a 45* and I replaced that with the 47* so that there is less of a gap between that and my 52* wedge.

How many wedges do you carry and lofts do they have? Right now I only have one

I have always had wedge dilemmas in that i can never decide to play four wedges at 46*,50*,54*,and 58* or just three at 48*,54*, and 58*. Of course the choice i make refelcts the course and conditions. but everytime i play four wedges i always miss my 2 iron, and when i put the 2 iron back in the bag it seems i always have the perfect shot for the now missing gap wedge. haha anyone else have similair problems?

I carry 3 at tthe moment.

45* PW Cleveland Ta5
52* GW- lokking to replace it with something else

I just recently got the vokey wedge used for about $45 US and I love it. It has good spin, not excessive, and is very easy to control. I am looking ot replace my GW but im not sure what loft to get to fill the gap. Im thinking either 51, 52 or 53 but I could just get a 52 and bend it to the loft i want. Any thoughts would be much apreciated and on the type of wedge

hi guys
i have 3 wedges (r7 pw and sw and cleverland cg14 black pearl 60*)
and from what i have heard from club pro's is that the more wedges you carry, generally the less good you are around the greans (when i say more wedges i mean 4,5 or even 6) . so rather better your approach shots then end up buying another lob wedge.
