I've been Playing Golf for: 6 yrs, I had coaching for when I first began but I am mostly working on the swing myself now. 
My current handicap index or average score is: 80-85
My typical ball flight is: fade - slice
The shot I hate or the "miss" I'm trying to reduce/eliminate is:  slice, topping chips

A little background, I recently began to work on the swing over quarantine when I saw my takeaway being too flat, and having a 4 knuckle left hand grip. In the video I have weak grip, working on a more central rotation (used to be rotate on my right leg then to my left leg). I feel as if I cannot fully turn my hips to finish, and when I do finish, my weight is mostly on my left heel and very unstable. I am open to any suggestions that will help my swing!

This position isn’t good for a functional swing.

 

If you can get your hands higher. You can give yourself time and space to drop it onto a flatter plan to not slice the ball.

Yeah, it definitely is really flat and feels very constrained. Is there a drill that you would recommend in unflattening it even just a bit? I have tried looking into various causes but somehow still have a great amount of trouble getting my arms higher.

I agree with the others' findings.  Swing looks tidy, but way too flat.  Best you can do is be too shallow and block/hook it and likely not compress it or reroute steep on the way down.  Been there and done it--I used to be very flat and inside, reroute over the top, but jump to shallow it out with straight locked out arms and a block/hook with no consistent strike.  Get rid of that quick man.

From a setup with forward shaft lean at address, I feel like the straight edge/face on my club hinges up toward my nose as I take a backswing.  That's my feel that works for me.  Gets me in a position higher up on or even slightly above the elbow plane line (as seen from DTL) so I can hit down on the ball.  It allows you to start the ball on 0* (straight) instead of playing for a sling ball.

For sure the club hinge definitely gives me a feel of starting my takeaway more on a steeper plane. Glad to have someone has been through this, I am all the more hopeful.

I can't seem to upload my higher quality videos on youtube, I'm gonna check the web for some more info, but here are two that are not as bad as the earlier uploads.

The shorter backswing makes it DTL look better.  I can’t offer you much advice, your swing looks light-years better than mine. Keep up the work!

YouTube seems to like landscape instead of portrait for uploads. Try that and choose HD.
