I always like to watch action on the great old time privates.

The conditions and the course are beating up the gals.....always nice to see.

Since 2015.....the PGA of America and KPMG have done a great job to get the ladies onto better tracks.....kudos....I went to Sahalee in 2016....the back 9 is so crazy good....I was also there in 2010 to watch the senators at the USSO.

But a warning to everyone this week....keep your mute button handy....Paige MacKenzie's continuous giggling is so UNBEARBLE.

I'm ambivalent on Paige. She's just starting out in doing this.

Paige has been in front of the cameras for a while...hired by GC in 2015 and started some booth work in 2018. We see more Paige this year, as we see less of Judy as she nears retirement and less travel for her because of Covid.

Paige is ok...she just needs to stop her continuous giggling...it's so obnoxious.....I use to like Paige as a player....I don't like Stupples...she talks too much.

TV media work is difficult.....they all make it seem somewhat easy.....but it's not to speak with a fluid cadence in front of a camera..

Dame Laura Davies would be a good replacement for Judy....but it's too much work for LD's liking.

Dottie Pepper would be ideal if GC could snipe her from CBS....but I believe there are still sore feelings in the women's golf community towards Pepper because of her "Chokin freakin dogs" comment at the 2007 Solheim Cup....IMO....Dottie would have made a great SC Captain.

Koepka doesn't like Paige.

"When you hear that annoying voice on TV and look up and see it's @paigegolf".

Star golfer Brooks Koepka ripped Golf Channel announcer Paige Mackenzie for what she said about his recent Twitter post.

I'm just here to rant about the fact that GolfChannel is showing the Women's PGA instead of the end of the BMW right now........that is all

    • Day 66: Played 18! Wasn't really keeping track of score, but guessing in the low 80s. Driving okay, iron play up and down, lagging putting really bad. Overall, it was good to get out and play.
    • Day 41 - 2026-01-30 More backswing and grip work on the mat / net. Also some mirror time focused on trail weight.
    • Day 12 (30 Jan 26) -  Had hoped the men’s group would be playing, but the cold temps and delayed opening kept them at bay. Spent some time on the range working on loading the trail foot on the backswing (focusing on loading the inner portion of the foot and collapsing the knee slightly toward the ball). Learned too much really brought on a left pull.  Easing back a bit, really helped compressing the ball and overall accuracy.  Took it to the course for a practice round, focusing on this small change.  Saw better dispersion across the bag….guess this will be part of the mirror work drills as snowpacolypse 2 hits eastern NC.
    • I’d go with the Titleist if you liked the look of the blades but were suffering with distance. They should be a little more forgiving than a full blade and still retain some workability. Also remember to consider the shafts each have as this will be a big contributor to how they feel. Clemsonfan is right though… get fit or spend a bit of time on a launch monitor 🤙
    • Day 28: 2026.01.30 Managed to make time for a few swings out back today. Need a proper bit of range time this weekend.
