Such a simple thing to ID your ball. Glad he won though.

Well...he did ...he just didn’t realize someone had the same ball type.

But I guess that means he didn’t ID his ball...completely......🥴

I always mark my golfballs.  Why a person playing that caliber of tournament does not mark his golfball is shocking.

His golf ball was marked... with a University of Kentucky logo.  As were others in his group.  Perhaps he thought they'd all marked their balls so his was distinctive in that it had no golfer applied markings.

I've read it as he was playing a Univ. Kentucky logo ball, as was others on his team.  Meaning he did NOT mark it but simply used a logo ball.

His ball had a blue line on it. You could hear them saying that during the TV coverage.
