I'm not sure exactly what's happening here. His uniform looks like he's been playing already, so not his first at bat?

From browsing baseball sites recently I've been seeing these guys pop up more and more and they do stuff like this all of the time. 

 

 

Further, they play some exhibition games with the most ridiculous rules.  I want to go watch a game one time.

That’s actually about the tamest of all of them if you consider this is one of the rules that MLB has been pondering and experimented with a year or two ago in, I think, the Atlantic League. 😉
