I lead a team that manage a hardwood lumber optimization plant in the coastal city of Qingdao (famous for its Tsingtao Beer). We import hardwood lumber from North American (mostly Red Oak, White Oak, Poplar, Red Alder) and cut them up with German machinery. Our products end up in the US, Europe, and also in China. We're the largest production site in our industry.

I am originally from Taiwan, studied in the Dominican Republic and the US (Brown Class of '92) before taking up this job.

I am still in high school, but work part time at good old McDonald's. I really enjoy the money and can't wait to splurge on some upcoming golf purchases. It seems my life is school, work/lift weights, and golf.

When I was 16, I worked for McDonalds and Arby's, for a combined total of nearly 10 hours a day. I went to the driving range nearly daily back then too. Those are still, but a large margin, the worst jobs I ever had.

High Scool science teacher. I thought since I'd have summers off, my game would improve, but with 3 kids at home - haven't played much in the last 4-5 years.

    • Day 251 4-30 Worked on pelvis "going back" slightly in transition. Once i started getting some feel for it, added in wrist arching through. All done slower.
    • I've been putting whilst looking at the hole and it's definitely helped my distance control
    • I wonder if that is why my home course basically have no stakes now.  Not even markers.  It’s completely up to golfers to remember what is OB and hazard and how things used to be marked.     Even in tournaments, there is no marking and certain areas are played differently by different golfers who either don’t know better or use it to their advantage funny reading thru this with courses that actually have markers
    • is it though?????? "Millions of fans"?????
    • Great post, thanks for the informaiton. I try to avoid adding salt to anything I eat. I tend to add pepper on to my meals as opposed to salt. And I am trying to eat as clean on possible. On golf day, I eat 3 eggs for breakfast (pepper NO salt) and a salad for lunch, with grilled chicken thigs (pepper, garlic, no salt). I have been trying to avoid processed food, but we all slip. I also should have mentioned that the electrolyte packet calls for mixing with 16 oz of water, however I mix in 32 oz of water, so I dilute the electrolyte powder.
