Well, I hate to admit this, but no 300 yard drive, despite witnesses, unless my GG is not accurate.  This happens all the time at my league, guys tell me I hit it 280 then GG tells me only 250. Here is my GG from Whispering Woods #17, it registered 277. I'm not complaining, it was still a nice poke that I was happy with.

And YES, it was worth it.  I feel we should look at doing this again, maybe in the spring?

Happy to have you again. I’d again recommend playing before coming. If you want to play afterwards too, okay. But sometimes that doesn’t go well as you’re tired AND thinking about a lot that’s nowhere near ingrained yet.

Ah. Were you going by hole yardage? Doglegs… On the other hand it WAS wet.

Agree, day before and REST after lesson.  I was definitely done after the 5 hour group lesson.

Yes, looked at yardage and forgot to consider the dog-leg.  Still, on my league I will hit one on a straight hole znxvghd guys try to tell me I am 30 yards further than I am.

edit. Changed “fog-leg” to “dog-leg”

Dude, what are you doing?
Don't let facts ruin a good drive. I will take the stand and swear it was 305! After all, "Anyone can hit a 300 yard drive."

Thanks for the invite...just saw this, been a busy summer/fall.

In San Diego so I couldn't have made it anyway, but keep me in mind for the next one. God knows my game could use it...

    • Day 126: another busy day, so just did some mirror work. Checking set up and backswing and working on a few downswing feels.
    • Day 310 - Working on my follow-through. Higher chest, belt towards the target. Small swings at first, building to a fuller swing (still not thrilled with my short backswing).
    • Day 201 (19 Nov 24) - Walked the back nine at Minnesott today, played the “white” tees with the persimmon woods and bladed irons.  It’s a challenge I really like as the clubs are shorter in overall distances.  It really forces me focus on the value of the approach game.     Somehow yesterday’s post did not load / so it’s above.  Today (Day 202) I did some backyard short yardage work - 7i dink  and rolls, 9i chips and 50deg pitches - working to get it in before the rain started around noon.
    • Day 51 - 2024-11-20 Played nine holes of Sanctuary Moon with a 6I while pausing in the backswing and otherwise just practicing. If you're into Star Wars, or don't actively hate it… this is worth checking out.
