Yards Philly Pale Ale for me

Bag: Nike SQ Tour Stand bag
Driver: Cleveland HiBore XLS
Irons: Callaway X-20 4-PW
Putter: TaylorMade Modena 8 CGB

For a common beer I would say Labatt's hands down, in fact I'm drinking one right now. For a less common beer I would say stella artious (not sure how to spell it)

Guinness on Tap please...if not, there is/was a really good micro brew place somewhere in norcal (where was that at) that did an Oatmeal Creme Stout.  Fantastic!

Bell's Hopslam is my new favorite.  Tried it for the first time yesterday along with Founders KBS and it was amazing.

Unfortunately its seasonal :(

Yet another vote for Yuengling here.  Unfortunately, it's not sold in my area, so I drink it about once a year or so.  My favorite beer that's actually available locally would be Steel Rail EPA from Berkshire Brewing Company.

Haha, in the UK, and most of Europe, Stella Artois is as common as muck.

I can't choose just one - they're all good.  It's like asking who is your favorite supermodel?  Tough to pick just one.

Interesting comments and choices - especially about some of the 'green-bottled' choices.  I know a few home-brewers who will tell ya green bottles are terrible choices for bottling beer because the most destructive of light's wavelengths get through and can make the beer skunky relatively quickly.  I've found that to be pretty accurate.  Of the Stellas, Yuenlings, Heinekins, etc......I much prefer them draught versus from a green bottle.  Even out of a can is an improvement IMHO.

Cleveland, OH is home to a pretty credible micro-brewer called Great Lakes Brewing.  Their Elliot Ness brew is a great everyday choice, but their Christmas Ale (available only during the holiday season) is truly outstanding.

Awesome, I love tuatara. ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tuatara , not the beer: never tried it).  Obscure animals rock.

Best from a bottle was one of the trappist doubles.  Can't remember which.  Just remember it was in a class all it's own.  Best on tap, Uncle Billy's sampler here in Austin.  Pretty much any beer they brew, serve with the chopped beef sandwich.  Wheats and Shandies are also nice brews in Texas where it's almost always hot.

I'll go with the Stells Artois lager.  Crisp with flavor, but not overwhelming!

Someone else's review.... but pretty solid.  Just like the Bells Hopslam mentioned above, it's a seasonal, this one a late Spring, Summer offering.  If you see a sixer still around in the fall, get it.  It's the last one.

Currently having a love affair with Wisconsin beers

New Glarus Fat Squirrel, Leinenkugel red lager or creamy dark for dinners/ single beer for the evening.

Leinenkugel original for everything else: working in the garage, cutting grass, fishing, etc...

Since I live in Mississippi right now and can't get any of this local, once I run out of my mass stock of original I usually supplement with coors light until I can make another summer vacation run back up to WI.

    • Day 135: worked on putting bead for a while with the 2 cups drill.
    • Day 211 (29 Nov 24) - Friday men’s round albeit a solo foursome (temps in the 40’s, day after Thanksgiving and the average age closer to 75 - I’m a youngster at 65).  Interesting day of semi-solid play (8 of 18 GIR). Hit all four par threes in one (a first) - parred each; still had a couple 3 putt bogies; and blew up on 3 of the par 5’s (go figure)). The blow ups were some serious tree rattlers - amplifying how I got stupid and greedy instead of smart and content to just get back in the short stuff.
    • Day 60 - 2024-11-29 Got about 3.5' of snow today, so I was going to go to Golf Evolution, but… I only left the house to throw some snow. Instead, i checked out my putting stroke on HackMotion in the basement. Turns out… it's pretty good, and I'm very in touch with what I'm doing.
