Not at a golf store but rather a thrift shop, found an older Odyssey White Hot Two Ball putter in decent condition. The plan is to retire my old TaylorMade TC.1 putter for this one. I'll see how it works out, a hair short at 34" but I think I can adapt to it.

This week, new Titelist tour visor and new 2.0 super stroke putter grip for my Yes Sophia. Awesome by the way!! Next, new shoes and shopping for a 5 wood should be better with my current set up. Old age and stiff back.

Waiting for my Red and Black Clicgear Umbrella I just purchased from Golfsmith with much anticipation.  With the weather getting hot I find an umbrella on my push cart a breath of fresh air while golfing.  Should be in the store tomorrow.  I drive those salesmen crazy trying out used and new clubs, opening and closing umbrellas and trying them out on their Clicgear cart in the store.  I love going there just glad I could finally buy something new...

Another Titleist fitted mesh hat. I go through 1 every 3 months. Haven't found a reliable method of cleaning them without ruining them yet

Shoes - FootJoy M Project BOA, spiked, white/charcoal. Nice of FJ to offer these in extra-wide. Very comfortable, good support.

Tour Edge Exotics are excellent clubs.  Pricey?  Compared to many other sets, yes.  Compared to other hobby's equipment such as boating or woodworking, the Exotics are actually a minor investment.

Went in looking for a sw came out with the ugliest club iv ever bought. A Adams idea super dhy 21* hybrid/ driving iron. The white shaft looks awesome and it hit it really well. On sale from 230 to 150. Hope this helps my hybrid wooes

Have you tried the dish washer?

Never. Does that work? What do you use, if anything, as far as soap? Most liquid detergent has bleach in it I think.

    • Day 58 - 2024-11-27 Some quick 90-yard shots on a particular hole… before a lesson and testing out multiple Foresight Launch Monitors on GSPro.
    • Day 209 (27 Nov 24) - Easy session with the LW - short pitches replicating greens side up and downs. Finished up with the 7i and hard foam balls - making 1/2 to 3/4 swings with deliberately slowed tempo…from varied lies.
    • Yes, this is the 2024 model. DSG ruined what Callaway perfected for most golfers. A darn good 3 piece golf ball. Now it's a 2 piece cheap ball. To me a 2 piece ball is fine and a 3 piece budget ball is better. I prefer a slightly harder ball, something in the 65-75 compression range that will perform similar to the old Gamer. The Titleist tru-feel is pretty good. I planned on giving Maxfli straightfli a try.
    • Is that the current generation Gamer? Another old standby for a firm and inexpensive ball is Pinnacle.  There are two models, the Rush and the Soft, but I don’t know what compression they are.
    • Good advice, but according to DSG website it is a 45 compression ball. My current ball is the Top-flite Gamer at 70. 45 is too low for me to go.
